Your Safari Itinerary
After an early breakfast, set out for a full day of wildlife exploration in Akagera National Park.
The park's diverse landscapes create habitats for a wide variety of wildlife. Your guide will take you through different areas of the park in search of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, impalas, waterbucks and other species.
Keep your camera ready as you explore open savannah, woodland and scenic areas around the park.
Depending on wildlife movements and your route through the park, you may also have opportunities to search for predators.
Enjoy a picnic lunch or return to your lodge, depending on the day's schedule.
Continue exploring the park in the afternoon before returning to your accommodation.
Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the African wilderness.

Wake up early for another exciting morning in Akagera National Park.
The early hours are an excellent time for wildlife viewing as many animals are active before the heat of the day.

Later, enjoy a lake-based experience or boat excursion, depending on your selected safari programme and availability.
