MORNING GAME DRIVE
The morning is one of the best times to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park as wildlife becomes active across the savannah.
Your guide will take you through the park's wildlife-rich areas in search of elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, warthogs, waterbuck and other antelope species.
With luck, you may encounter lions resting in the grasslands or moving through the savannah in search of prey.
Your guide will explain the behaviour of the animals and the importance of the park's ecosystems.
After the game drive, return to your lodge for lunch and some time to relax.
AFTERNOON KAZINGA CHANNEL BOAT CRUISE
In the afternoon, enjoy one of Queen Elizabeth National Park's most famous experiences — a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
The channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George and attracts large concentrations of wildlife.
As you cruise along the water, look out for large groups of hippos resting in the shallows, crocodiles along the banks and elephants and buffaloes coming down to drink.
The cruise is also an excellent birdwatching experience, with numerous water birds and other species found along the channel.
The combination of wildlife, water and dramatic scenery makes the Kazinga Channel one of the highlights of any visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After the cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
