The Park is best for Big Five viewing, boat safari, Bird Watching, Scenic landscapes and Wildlife.
After breakfast, our female driver guide will take you to Akagera National Park. After registering at the southern gate, proceed inside the park, keeping an eye out for wildlife. Join a boat ride on Lake Ihema and expect to see large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, Fish eagles, African darters, kingfishers, and herons. Later, retire to your lodge. Overnight at
In the morning, right after breakfast, you will go for a game drive in the southern part of the park, searching for wildlife as you explore the rolling savannah and woodland areas. Akagera National Park is home to the big five animals and many other animals, like antelopes, hippos, Masai giraffes, Large elephant herds, Zebras, topis, Buffalo, Waterbucks, impalas and so much more. Your ranger guide will use radio communication to track recent predator movements. Later in the afternoon, you will drive to transfer back to Kigali.
